I cannot believe the poor service I have received from peacocks. First of all they don’t deliver my parcel which I have paid for and aren’t willing to refund me. It is no fault of my own that your company or your delivery company are incompetent and unable to deliver a parcel to the correct address and actually ensure the buyer receives it. But second of all after correspondence with the company, my mother in law messaged the company as the dress was a gift for her and received an utterly shameful response. She was called ‘thick’ for ordering a dress in the middle of a pandemic. Whilst I appreciate COVID is going on are we not allowed to wear nice clothes anymore? God forbid we decided to buy something from your shop to try and help out the industry in difficult times. The whole manner of the response she was received was patronising and sarcastic. Phrases such ‘you seem like such a nice lady’, ‘Pretty thick’ ‘p.s your button seems to be stuck on caps lock’ were all used. And finally how lovely of a company must you to be to tell her that you’re sharing her profile picture and review in your ‘group page’ to sit and discuss her. I have never known a company to deal with an easily rectifiable issue in such a disgusting way and customer service clearly means nothing.

Returns policy is simple ( and in line with other high street retailers, and is totally legal as all policies have to be passed by trading standards). On the bottom of your reciept it states you have 14 days to either exchange or refund ( the actual last date of returning is printed on your receipt) there are, or should be, notices at the till also telling you this. This 14 day policy has been in effect for a year now. You will need your receipt to do either. If your items where bought between 9th March and 22nd of March, your receipt is valid for up to 14 days after the store opens. E.g. if your local store opens on 1st September you have until the 14th to exchange or refund with a till receipt. Fitting rooms are closed due to government guidelines and the handling of stock is discouraged due to stock having to go into "quarantine" for 48 hrs if done so. Hope this clears up any misunderstandings of refunds and exchanges.

It was my first time buying from peacocks online and never again! I had to return two items as they were too big and had to pay for return as well. I’m fuming 3 weeks later and still no refund! surely a refund shouldn’t take that long and it was returned tracked also?? No response from customer service, very poor. I had to get PayPal involved to get my money back. Do not buy from them!

Do not buy online!!!If you chose to return goods, you do so at your own expense if posted back.I opted to return my items, to store, within 14 days.I was questioned as to why I hadn't printed my return form... I do not own a printer!!!I was then advised, I couldn't have a refund, only an exchange as I paid via paypayl!!!!!I was in the shop for 40 minutes, the first sale assistant didnt know how process and kept getting confused, so had to call her manager to take over.

Clothes look ok for Christmas presents but I received a refund and did not get an email stating the reasons why until the clothes arrived and three vests were missing. Strange customer service having not been informed beforehand so I could have placed an order elsewhere. Other stores usually let you know if an item of clothing isn’t in stock..

Ordered 2 items online took ages to arrive, Both items are terrible quality The women's hoodie is supposed to be a medium but is more like a child's size the arms are too short and the hood is only big enough to fit a five year old the material is supposed to be a thick fleece but is see through. The joggers are supposed to be a women's size medium but are more like a mans size way too big and very long in the leg they also have a hole in them. Both items are sub standard rubbish only fit for the bin. I paid with pay pal so no chance of a refund. I will take them to my nearest store and ask to exchange them but judging by the reviews on here I don't hold out much hope.

Placed a £200+ order, I'm an NHS Worker currently living away from home due to household being at risk, due to a limited wardrobe I have been working from home up until now and I have been told I need to return to work where we have a dress code therefore I ordered new work wear. 1 parcel opened containing 7 out of 20 items were delivered, none of which suitable attire for work which today got me sent home from work for breaking the dress code! 1 days wages lost there. No response from Customer Services, fuming is an understatement.Recommend to avoid at all costs, due to the negative press with Hermes and Peacocks at the minute I am currently having interest from the media.

It’s no wonder this company is in trouble!!Placed an order online, £50 order for Xmas presents. For some reason their website defaulted my home address to my local store, I’m guessing it’s from where I did click and collect in the past. Every time I click PayPal as payment it defaults to this address and I didn’t realise. So of course my order went there, but it’s closed so I get a Hermes email saying it needs more info, I contact peacocks, I had to wait two days for an email response to be told stores aren’t accepting personal orders, duh that’s obvious, I didn’t want it to go to the store!! I kept asking how did my account default to that address, no reply. I now have to wait for Hermes to deliver to the store address, that is closed down for good, 3 times before it goes back to them and then I have to wait 14 days for a refund!! I paid by PayPal, why will it take 14 days to press a refund button? I have asked how to correct this issue so I won’t have it again, no response!! So I won’t be ordering from them again, problem solved then! Horrendous customer support, one of the worst I’ve come across.

Terrible customer service - received faulty item and information not at all clear on how to return the item. All customer services shut due to Covid !!!!No response to emails . I contacted store and they said I’d have to pay to return a faulty item and maybe Head office would refund the postage but they didn’t know as head office was shut! Will not order from them again .

Totally dreadful in all respects of customer service. Items fine. Return policy awful and you pay. Wasn’t allowed to return to store as I paid by PayPal. I ordered quite a few jeans, I have to pay to send in post. Putting them in the charity shop bag instead. I will never use Pracocks again. Plus, the staff are miserable, stroppy and degrading!

I have shopped with Peacocks for years and always been pleased with their products. However, 18 days ago (yes I now know it is 14 days you are allowed!) I purchased two items to try on at home and return I cannot drive at present so dependent on lifts and am disabled but I must admit I didn't look at the return date on the receipt until now as I did assume that most responsible shops offer either 28 days or 30 days to return goods. Today I contacted the store in the hope that I may be offered a credit note for my £42.10 as all in same bag with tags but no not their policy. Well I cannot afford to lose £42.10 to a wealthy business so after years of loving Peacocks and using them, I will no longer be a customer. Very disappointed in their policy of returns.
